  • Important warning to all.

While this product is a nifty toy and everyone has already commented on the finite number of variations that you can make, there is something that buyers should take into account. Some early reviews state that you can put in more than one “crystal” to get a third color; ex. red and blue make purple. This is no longer the case. Hasbro has changed the programming and you can only get red, blue or green; no color combinations. To be honest, this was the selling factor for me, so I was quite disappointed to discover this.

All in all, the product is fun and a great addition to your Jedi arsenal, but just know that you will not be able to that beautiful purple blade you may desire.

    A concerned Jedi.

  • Amazon did not ask me to review the other product I bought and returned which they then charged me a $90 restocking fee, I no longer will be a customer of Amazon again, quite the rip off.

  • I bought this game for my nephew, who is almost 5. He is a very active child and I thought this game would help him use up some of his engery. It is a fun game that everyone can play together, even adults play this game with him. He really enjoys using it.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift and did not realize that frustration free packaging translates to a plain cardboard box with no color or pictures to tell the child receiving it what is in the package. For a young child who is not familiar with the game, this will cause a loss of excitement when opening the gift. I am replacing this item with another gift that my young nephew can recognize at Christmas and will give this to his mother to take out when you don’t need the presentation value that the colorful box illustrations add to a new toy. BE AWARE OF THE PACKAGING WHEN BUYING AS A GIFT. It’s nice not to have to cut it open but you don’t have to go this stark with the box.

My kids got this for their birthday present. The first time they played it, two of my kids got blood blisters from the toy pinching them. I thought it was a fluke. But every time they’ve played with this toy (four times total before I pitched it), every time they played it gave someone a blood blister from a pinch. This toy should be recalled.
