I felt there were not enough games and the games they did have were boring and repetitive.

  • Ok, I wrote a review a few days ago asking if anyone else was having contriol issues, especially with Bop-It…well, last nite I was playing again and I figured it out, for SHOUT-IT, I was moving my arm up w/ the controller, and it was not registering, you have to just move your wrist…and guess what? I now LOVE THIS GAME!! Bop-It & Pictureka I can play for hours (which I was doing last nite)…yeah I can get the same experiance if I bought original versions of these games, but to have them all in one place that you can play on the comfort of your couch is the best part. Plus you can play the Remix versions of the games, it mixes it up a bit (especially Pictureka). Would definitaly recomend this game.

You can also create your own backgroung music playlist from dozens of different “songs” – some annoying (like the game show songs) to some that are more fun (the Horror and Superhero themes). Also, you unlock new items for your Potatoe Head to customize him as you please, not like the first game where you can add new stuff to your room. I like this way better cause how you customize him he stays like that in every game you play. I also like you can play you Wii in the Game Show mode.

Basically all I can say is give this game time. The first few times you may get frustrated and give up (as I almost did) but once you get the hang of it, it can be hours of fun for everyone!!

  • They improved and fixed a lot of things in this game compared to the first one. I really like Operation, Pictureka, and Jenga. The controls are pretty smooth, and the graphics are good. I would have liked to have seen a larger collection of games included, but overall it is a nice addition to the Wii library as far as family gaming goes. We have played it with players as young as ten and as old as fifty-six and so far everyone has enjoyed it.

It is a nice addition being able to unlock different pieces/collections of Mr. Potato head.

I was a fan of the first Hasbro Fam. Game Night..but the 2nd one is great for both single and multiplayer…You can actually play a random selection of all the mini games within the classic game as single player now. You can use your own mii! The controls are great…and I’m nostalgic about being awarded prizes for all the different Mr.Mrs. Potatoe head faces I can make.

I can’t stop playing bop it, pictureka or Jenga…But as mini games…in remix mode…all the games flow together seamlessly…much better than the first game.

More mini game collections should have this random remix option for all their games to keep it fresh.

The first one, wasn’t as fun playing multiplayer, but this one definitely got it right.
