.My Nintendo DS LIte is sorta broken, u see, it wont come on when I try to turn it on. I went to a game shop to ask a person who works there, and he says that its the battery, the other thing is that when I shake it, I hear somthin’ rattling inside, This started when the DS fell from my bed to the floor, which is kinda hard, no rugs or carpets, when I went to get a new battery, it still wouldn’t work, I know it’s not completly broken ’cause when I went to charge it, The orange light would turn on, the first time it broke, Now the orange light only comes on for a split second, and it is very troublesome, can please help me, I miss my Nintendo DS video games, OMG I’m freakin’ out.

.BTW:Does DS actually have a real meaning, like it’s just the initials of a/two words like digital sinc or something

yes there is something really wrong with it if you already went to the person and told him or her everything then they should know what is wrong with it but what i would do bc you probably broke the thing that makes the screens work i would either send it to nintendo to fix it or get aa brand new one (ps:im sorry about what happened:)) hope this maybe helps:)

Something obviously seriously damaged inside. Send it to Nintendo. You can get there contact details and book it in for a repair by going to http://www.nintendoservicecentre.co.uk

DS stands for dual screen if I remember correctly.
