I bought this game for my daughter that is in kindergarten and she loves to play it. The characters are very cute and the game does have a lot of things that my daughter can do with ease. However, she is just starting to learn to read and there is a TON!! of reading in this game. So I spend a lot of time reading things to her. Also some of the games you have to play to earn kibble coins were difficult at the easy stage even for me (a 32 year old).
I would recommend it to friends while making it clear that they need to plan to spend a lot of time playing this with their child if they can’t read.

This new Little Pet Shop game is super cute for girls expanding a variety of ages. The arcade portion contains really entertaining and cute games that help you earn Kibble coins to accessorize your pets. DS games are very hard to come by for my daughter since she is so young (4 years old). This game fits the bill for the youngest DS fan up to girls who are in the upper elementary grad level. LOL Who am I kidding…even I had fun with some of those arcade games. Some games include: a Plinko type game, Skee ball, Ring Toss, duck pick, and others. Oh and as a teacher I was pleased to see some sorting games, matching games, and sequence games….so there is a twist of educational value to the game as well.
