I’m a jock, I’m 25, and I was never a big fan of video games. I can only say I liked Street Fighter II and that’s it, I can’t remember ever liking another game.
I just played Wii for the first time, and liked it. I played with my tennis partner the tennis video game, and we loved it, we were running around in the room doing the arm movements, we probably exagerated and moved more than we needed. I also loved the baseball game, we were competeting for who could throw the fastest according to the computer.
I never liked video games, but I might buy this console because you have to stand up and move.
Which are the video game that require a lot of arm movement, and different ways of moving them?
I think Wii-Boxing sounds like a lot of movement for the arms..
But then again look at Zelda, with all the sword slashings.. Imagine if they had Wii-Fencing…
Boxing, fishing (all of that cranking), but probaly Zelda, because of the sword slashing, bow-pulling, and other actions that require movement.
Being someone who actually owns zelda I would have to disagree, it doens’t require, and often doesn’t even encourage a lot of movement. The wii sports game (what you played) requires the most that I’ve seen (and comes free with the system), but there will be plenty that require more as the system moves on.
I agree with the other person, I’m 15 hours into Zelda now and there isn’t much arm movement, at least exaggerated movement – you do need to move, just not like in Wii sports. SO far Wii sports has the most movement of any games I’ve played but be patient! The console is only a few weeks old, so give it some time and I know for sure more sports games will be coming out.
if you like action, try red steel. a swordsman must rescue his fiancee from yakuza and take revenge of his future father-in-law death. the main character use gun and sword as weapon. the swing of the sword and the gunpoint depend on your arm movement
